Colibri

As a part of a classroom project, we recreated Colibri- a mechanical sculpture by Derek Hugger. ‍Colibri is a wooden kinetic sculpture that simulates the motion of a hummingbird in flight. We took this sculpture to study the kinetics and mechanisms and replicated it. Every movement in this sculpture has been completely mechanized.
