I am currently pursuing an MFA in Interaction Design at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City. Since joining the program, I have recognized my responsibility as a designer to create products and systems that are not only functional but also equitable and inclusive.
Prior to SVA, I earned my Bachelor of Design in Industrial Design from the National Institute of Design in India. During my time there, I worked on various self-driven projects in systems design, speculative design, and service design. Post-baccalaureate, I gained experience as a UX designer and have worked on projects involving electric vehicle fleet management, cybersecurity, e-commerce, and retail.
As a product designer, empathy is my guiding light as I strive to positively impact the world around me. I speak my mind, but I'm a team player and can handle whatever comes my way. When I am not solving complex problems and designing interactions, you'll find me dancing, doing origami, or seeing a Broadway show.
